Purpose

        IPLBA will provide valuable opportunities for experts throughout the Region to network with ones of similar interests, and therefore tries to promote communication, investment and trade in the Region. The IPBA's purposes, as stated above, are to:

        1.      Provide the Association’s members with opportunities to:

        a)        contribute towards the communication of the legal professions within the Asia-Pacific Region;

        b)        share the information about legal developments on trade and investment affecting the Region;

        c)        study and discuss legal issues on trade and investment that involve the Region; and

        d)       contribute towards the understanding and development of the law and the legal structures within the Region;

        2.      Serve its members fairly and equitably; and

        3.      Promote the rule of law, trade and investment in the Region.
